Sapulpa Neighborhood Near Rock Creek Floods Again

A neighborhood on the south side of Sapulpa which is known for flooding problems experienced more of the same Thursday.

The area at Taft and alternate Highway 75 is located near Rock Creek.

Thursday morning, the creek was out of its banks as rain continued to fall.

The neighborhood was the scene of some extensive flooding in May and Sapulpa firefighters had to evacuate residents.

Many of their homes sustained significant damage and with the water rising Thursday it appears those same homes will flood again.
