Tulsa Man Arrested For First-Degree Murder

Galon Terrell Brown was booked into jail on complaints of first-degree murder in Julian Leonard Harris' death this July.

Tulsa County Sheriff's Office arrested a Most Wanted suspect early Saturday morning. Galon Terrell Brown was booked into jail on complaints of first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Brown, 33, is being held without bond. A Most Wanted suspect, Brown turned himself in at the jail.

"I think he just ran out of places to hide," said Homicide Sergeant Dave Walker.

The District Attorney's office charged Brown with Julian Leonard Harris' death this July. Harris was shot and killed in the parking lot of the Windsor Village Apartment complex near 51st and Yale July 12, 2015. 

Walker said Harris drove to the parking lot in a silver Buick and got into a fight with people at the complex. 

Brown is also charged with shooting another man in the leg.
