A long-time feud between neighbors turned violent when police said one of the neighbors ran over the other one.

Stanley Majors is being held without bond and was arrested for violating a protective order, leaving the scene of an accident and more.

The woman police say Majors hit is in the hospital with broken bones and head injuries. Her family said even though the two neighbors didn't get along, they never thought it would come to this.

Saturday, the woman was jogging in the neighborhood near 91st and Memorial when she was hit by a car and sent flying into a yard.

Neighbor Isaac Hoakip said, "I just looked outside and the fire department over there, police over there."

Police said the victim's next door neighbor, Stanley Majors, hit her and took off.

According to the accident report, officers found Majors’ car parked at a nearby apartment complex and he was walking away from it.

Police said Majors told them he hit a jogger and said the victim's name. The report also said he told police the victim, and her family was filthy Lebanese.

One neighbor said, “It's very unfortunate. We need to learn to live together in a more pleasant and peaceful way."

The two neighbors have a very heated history.

The victim filed a protective order against Majors in 2013, claiming he would knock at windows late at night. She also said he was very racist towards foreigners and blacks.

Records show Majors filed his own protective orders against one of the victim's family members in 2014. It said they stalked him, sent harassing emails and threatened to blackmail him.

The victim's family said, "This is, unfortunately, a very difficult time for our family. Our thoughts and prayers are focused on our mother's speedy recovery.”

Police said they aren't sure if Majors hit the victim intentionally, but do believe he was drunk at the time.

One neighbor said, "I think it's quite heinous that someone would deliberately run down another neighbor."

"This is just really evil, that's just crazy," Hoakip said.

Majors was arrested for two counts of violating a protective order and other complaints, including public intoxication.
