Tulsa police are investigating two Saturday afternoon armed robberies that may be connected.
One took place at the Taco Bell on 21st Street just east of Sheridan, and the other is at a Subway on 11th Street and Garnett.
In both cases, the description of the robbers and vehicle description were similar and they pointed semi-automatic pistols at employees.
According to TPD Sgt. Sandy Bayles, a man and woman worked together on both robberies.
The man is described as black, wearing a camo mask, black shirt and tan pants. The woman was described as 5-foot, 120 pounds and dark-skinned, but her race is unknown, Bayles said.
Witnesses said another man may have been driving the getaway vehicle.
Police made arrests in another armed robbery, which was also in East Tulsa.
Police say near 21st and Sheridan, two lawn care workers stopped at a gas station. They say two men approached them, pointed a gun and demanded their truck, lawn equipment, and personal items.
One of the suspects drove off in the victim's vehicle. The other suspect drove off in a white Chevy pickup that police say had been stolen in Catoosa.
Police later tracked both trucks to a nearby apartment complex and arrested both men.
