Police: Armed Robber Strikes Midtown Tulsa Bank

Tulsa police have confirmed a midtown bank was hit by an armed robber on Wednesday afternoon.

The robbery, which took place at the Arvest Bank at 51st Street and Yale Avenue, was reported about 12:15 p.m.

Police said the man presented a note demanding money, implied he had a gun then left the store. Police said no one could confirm if the man had a weapon.

According to police, the man is described as a white male, about 5-feet-9-inches tall with a thin build and shaggy brown hair.
