Two Wanted For Questioning In McAlester Murder

McAlester Police are searching for two men in connection to a shooting death overnight Tuesday. Garrett Freeman and Johnathon Shane Powell are wanted for questioning in the homicide.

Police say they were called to the 400 block of East Comanche just before 1 a.m. and found a man had been shot in the head.

A woman at the residence told investigators she heard a shot, and everyone left the house. She was not able to tell police where the shooter went.

"It is believed the victim and the suspects were arguing over money," a news bulletin states.

Officers are trying to locate the shooting victim's next of kin before releasing his name.
