CALL NOW: News On 6 Hosting Health Care Phone Bank Friday

News On 6 will be hosting a Health Care Phone Bank on Friday afternoon.

You must sign up by December 15, 2015 in order to be insured by January 1, 2016. Many rates are going up this year and several companies have dropped out of the marketplace so we know you have lots of questions. The phone bank will give you a chance to get those questions answered free of charge.

The phone bank will be open from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday.

For enrollment or re-enrollment assistance in the Marketplace health insurance program, Morton Comprehensive Health Services and its partners have scheduled an event December 12, 2016.

The event will last from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Morton’s main office, 1334 N. Lansing Avenue.

Certified application counselors will be on hand to provide free one-on-one assistance in making a new application or in updating a current application already on file. Enrollment deadline is January 31 to have insurance available to an individual and his/her family in 2016.
