Campaign Begins For New Tulsa Vision Tax Plan

The official Vision Tulsa campaign kicked off Thursday morning at the BOK Center.  

City, county and business leaders were on hand to show support for the tax.  

There are three major parts to the plan. The first is public safety, the second is streets and transportation and the third is economic development.

Now, the big question people have is, how much is this going to cost?

Tulsa city councilor GT Bynum said it's symbolic to hold the kickoff at the BOK Center because he said it was a project that became an economic development game changer for Tulsa, bringing in $900 million in development to the city. 

Tulsa County Commissioner Karen Keith called the previous Vision plan, Vision 2025, transformative, saying she hopes that legacy continues.
