Wednesday, the Rotary Club honored a Tulsa Firefighter and Tulsa Police Officer of the year.

Dustin Fletcher created a charity called 918 Fully Involved that puts on a MMA fighting event between Tulsa firefighters and police officers every year, and all the money raised goes to Special Olympics and the Oklahoma Burn Camp.

"It truly is rewarding to go out there and do something to make a difference," he said.

Officer Jim McClaughry has patrolled the streets of Tulsa for nearly 25 years. His work and the fact he commits random acts of kindness every week is why he was chosen as this year's Above and Beyond, officer of the year.

"If I can change one person to make their day a little better, maybe they will do something to make someone else’s life better," he said.
