Sand Springs Splash Pad Opens At River City Park

There's a new place for kids to cool off in Sand Springs this summer. The Rotary Super Splash pad opened Monday in River City Park.

It features a 20-foot Vortex Dumping Bucket which is one of only three in the entire state.

Bond money and a $70,000 donation from the Rotary Club paid for the splash pad.

River City Park is near the Case Community Center off Wekiwa Road north of the Arkansas River.
