Severe thunderstorms are likely across Green Country late this afternoon into the evening hours. 

These storms will likely fire ahead of a dryline in central Oklahoma between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. These storms will initially pose a very large hail risk as they advance east-northeastward into our area.

Supercell storms are likely, which means they will rotate and could pose a tornado threat by early evening.  The highest risk for tornadoes will be southeast of Tulsa between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.  High winds are also possible as these storms moving into eastern Oklahoma this evening.

The most likely time frame for storms around Tulsa will be between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.  These storms should clear eastern Oklahoma by 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. tonight.
