Tulsa police are investigating a bank robbery. They believe the suspected robber is a teenager.
Around 6:30 Wednesday evening, officers responded to the IBC Bank in the 4200 block of South Garnett Road.
According to police, the robber – believed to been in his teens – walked into the bank, lifted his shirt and told clerks he had a bomb and demanded money.
Bank employees said they complied and the robber left.
Police said they aren’t sure if he actually had a bomb, but clerks said they didn’t wait to see if he did.
No description of the teen has been released at this time.
Police are still investigating.
