Rape Suspect Dies In Tulsa County Jail

A suspect in a Tulsa rape case died in the Tulsa County Jail over the weekend.

Jail records indicate he died Saturday morning.

Tulsa Police arrested Leo Horn, 58, last August in connection to a rape at a motel. Police said he raped a pregnant woman who had asked to borrow his phone.

Horn faced one count of 1st-degree rape and one count of 2nd-degree rape in that case.

He was also charged with malicious injury to property for throwing a dinner tray and breaking a window while in jail in April.

The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office said it believes Horn died of natural causes but is waiting for the Medical Examiner's office to make the official determination.
