Owasso's City Hall is in its new home Monday. It opened for customers at the new location at 76th and Main.
City leaders said they had the idea about 10 years ago to turn an old bank building into city hall, but the process really started about five years ago.
"It's a building that works well," said Owasso City Manager Warren Lehr. "You know a bank built for customer service for citizens to walk in and out - city hall built for customers for citizens to have access to - to come in and out."
They've even utilized the teller windows which are now permit and utility billing windows.
The police department will expand into what has been the city hall building which is down the street on Main.
