The Tulsa County District Attorney's Office filed a murder charge in a killing that happened during the 2011 blizzard.

The suspect is Lafayette Wilson, 27.

Late on the night of January 31, 2011, Tulsa Police answered a call about a shooting in the 1500 block of North Florence. They found Martin Caleb, 38, lying in the driveway of an empty home. His Chevy pickup was missing.

Caleb died at the hospital. Rogers County Sheriff's deputies found Caleb's truck a week later in Owasso.

Tulsa Police said the blizzard hampered the investigation into the crime, but they believe robbery was the motive.  They say Wilson is already in federal custody and will be brought back to Tulsa to face the murder charge.

In 2013, a federal judge sentenced Wilson to six-and-a-half years in prison for possessing firearms after previous felony convictions. Court records show he had been convicted of possession of a controlled substance and second-degree burglary in 2009.
