NW Expressway Narrowed As Crews Repair May Ave. Bridge In OKC

Northwest Expressway is narrowed as crews repair the May Avenue Bridge in Oklahoma City, Wednesday morning.

Bob Mills SkyNews 9 and Pilot Jim Gardner flew over the repair works. Westbound NW Expressway is narrowed to one lane, and eastbound NW Expressway is down to two lanes in the area.

The lanes will remain closed from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Crews are re-striping the pavement and replacing crash tubs damaged when a truck crashed into the May Avenue Bridge in May.

Drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time.
