Deputies Look For Inmate Who Walked Away From Tulsa County Jail

Deputies are looking for an inmate who walked away from the back dock of the Tulsa County jail Thursday morning.

The jail is located in the 300 block of North Denver.  

The inmate has been identified as Henry William Givens, 48, of Tulsa.  He was being held without bond after pleading guilty in late July on a larceny charge.

The search is being conducted in the downtown area where that inmate was last sighted.

TCSO spokesman Justin Green says Henry Givens was on a work detail, taking out the trash when he walked away.  Givens was last seen wearing blue jeans and a gray t-shirt. Justin says when Givens walked away he was wearing orange pants and no shirt.
