Police Name Victim Killed In Apparent Tulsa Neighborhood Shooting

Tulsa Police have released the name of the victim in Friday's deadly neighborhood shooting. Homicide Sergeant Dave Walker told News On 6 that Khalid Jabara died when his neighbor, Vernon Majors, shot him.

Officers responded to the shooting in the 9300 block of 85th East Avenue just before  7 p.m.  Friday.  They arrived to find the 37-year-old Jabara shot. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say Majors had a history of problems with his neighbors - and at the time of the shooting was already awaiting trial for allegedly running over another neighbor.
