The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office Cold Case Task Force is hoping the public can help locate family members for unsolved cases.
The task force is taking a closer look at 28 unsolved cases from across Tulsa County and says family members are important.
“Family members are essential,” TCSO spokesperson Casey Roebuck said. “The families are the ones these investigators are working to find answers for.”
Some of the cases being worked on are more than 30 years old, which is why it’s important the task force has up-to-date information on victims’ family members.
“It’s so important that we find additional family members to help us,” Roebuck said. “They can provide DNA samples and maybe able to give us important information about their family member.”
