A Chouteau woman recently arrested on a complaint of child neglect died Wednesday in the Tulsa County jail.
Caitlin Lynn Lewis apparently died from self-inflicted means in her cell, officials say.
Lewis was arrested in September on a complaint of child neglect by Munchausen By Proxy. Munchausen By Proxy is when a parent fakes an illness for their child or even causes their child to be sick over and over because they want attention or sympathy.

Investigators said she took her daughter to at least a dozen clinics and hospitals, saying the girl had seizures.
They said in June, nurses at a Tulsa hospital caught Lewis giving drugs to her daughter.
Police said Lewis' daughter is now with her father and not sick or on medications and is doing very well.
Lewis was also charged in Mayes County with stealing drugs from a nursing home where she worked.
The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating and said it will release a statement Thursday.
Our partners at The Frontier, say Lewis is a least the fourth person to die in the Tulsa County jail this year.
