Ground Broken For St. John Rehabilitation Hospital In Broken Arrow

St. John broke ground Wednesday morning on what will be a free-standing rehabilitation hospital in Broken Arrow.

The hospital, which is affiliated with HealthSouth, will include 40 all-private rooms as well as an on-site therapy gym.  Six of the rooms will have connections for dialysis.  

Officials say their goal is to help patients recover from conditions like stroke, trauma, and brain injuries.

Congressman Jim Bridenstine as well as city and hospital officials were in attendance.

The new facility will be located at the St. John Broken Arrow campus on West Albany Drive and is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2017.
