Crews Battle Large House Fire In NW OKC

<p>Crews are responding to the scene of a house fire on the northwest side of the metro.</p>

Crews battled a large fire that caused significant damage to a home on the northwest side of the metro, Friday morning.

Firefighters were called out to the home at 13217 Rock Canyon Rd. around 11:18 a.m. Once on scene crews reported seeing heavy flames and smoke pouring from the home. Firefighters also said a vehicle was fully engulfed in flames in the driveway.

It took crews about an hour to douse the fire.

OKCFD says everyone made it out of the home safely before crews arrived on scene.

After an investigation, the cause of the fire was classified as "undetermined". The home is a total loss.
