A 4.5 magnitude earthquake rocked Pawnee late Tuesday night, just about a month after the state's largest quake shook the same area.
Pawnee residents worry a bigger earthquake is still to come.

So far there haven't been any reports of damage or injuries from Tuesday night's quake, but the damage left from September's quake is still obvious in downtown Pawnee.

Tuesday's quake was centered about 8.5 miles southeast of Pawnee.

The epicenter from September's earthquake was several miles northwest of town.

Many people around town said the quake Tuesday night woke them up while others said they slept through it.

A few of the insurance companies in town said after September's 5.8 quake they got a lot calls about coverage but haven't had any so far Wednesday.

Sandy Beaudoin said both the September 3, 2016, quake and Tuesday's shook her house and she timed both quakes. Tuesday night's lasted at least fifty seconds.

She said the big one lasted over a minute.

"You know, you gotta wonder every time now, when one of these heavier ones starts, 'is this it?,'" Beaudoin said. "Because like I said, they keep going."
