Two clocks are being installed on the Route 66 Meadow Gold Milk sign Thursday.
The famous sign is located along11th Street near Quaker. That section of 11th Street is part of historic Route 66.
The new clocks are designed to resemble the originals.
In the 1930s, Meadow Gold Milk put the sign atop a small building at 11th and Lewis. It was a beacon along Route 66 until sometime in the 1970s.
In 2009, the sign was moved almost a mile west on 11th Street to its current location.
