Flu hospitalizations continue to rise in Oklahoma as 10 more people were hospitalized in the past week, state health officials said.
The Oklahoma State Department of Health said 42 people have now been hospitalized since the flu season began in October. No deaths have been reported due to the flu, OSDH said.

Last week, the department reported 32 hospitalizations in 16 counties. This week, the OSDH says there are now 42 cases in 19 counties.
The flu has now been reported in three additional counties since last week, including Cherokee, Pawnee and Wagoner counties, OSDH reported.
The 10 new hospitalizations this week were in Cherokee, Cleveland, Logan, Oklahoma, Pawnee, Tulsa and Wagoner counties.
Tulsa County continues to report the most cases across the state, with 10 confirmed cases of the flu.
Every Thursday, the OSDH releases its weekly influenza report and will continue to do so until May 2017.
