People braved up the frigid cold temperatures and snow to rally behind a Tulsa deputy.

Deputy Dennis Miller is battling stage four breast cancer and is retiring early due to it.

On Saturday, several deputies hosted a "cancer sucks" benefit at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame.

Deputies grew their mustaches out during "no shave November" and shaved them off at the event to raise money for Miller's medical expenses.

“It means the world to the whole family and people to come out in this winter wonderland of Oklahoma weather,” said Miller’s daughter Melanie Sweeney. “The support is wonderful.”
