Flood Warning Issued For Bird Creek South Of Skiatook

The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for Bird Creek south of Skiatook near Sperry.  

The creek is forecast to crest at 23.3-feet by Saturday afternoon, then fall below flood stage later that evening.

At 23 feet, minor rural flooding will occur from Skiatook to Turley.  

Drivers using Highway 20 east of Skiatook where it crosses over Bird Creek should exercise caution.
