A jury is deliberating the case of Shawn Freeman, a Claremore man accused of several counts of first-degree rape and forcible sodomy.
Attorneys gave their closing arguments Wednesday, trying to persuade the jury to see things their way when it comes to Freeman's fate.
The defense kept its closing argument relatively short, focusing heavily on the fact that the four women in the case gave varying descriptions of the man who assaulted them.

The descriptions ranged from reddish-blonde hair to brown; from muscular to heavy-set; short hair to shoulder-length; and an age range from 30 to 60.
Attorney John Dunn said all the variations point to the conclusion that all the women were raped by different men.
The prosecution said that appearances can change over time and the rapes happened over about a year-and-a-half span.
The prosecution also relied on expert witnesses who said that it's not uncommon for women to poorly describe people involved in a traumatic event in their lives.
Police arrested Freeman following a serial rape investigation dating back to May 2014.
