Oklahoma Woman Gets 30 Years For Enabling Child Sexual Abuse

An Oklahoma woman charged with allowing a 7-year-old in her care to be sexually exploited was sentenced to 30 years in prison. Prosecutors said Melissa Skelton also exchanged child porn with former Muskogee firefighter Zach Perry.

She pleaded guilty to accepting money in exchange for letting Perry take the 7-year-old girl to Muskogee for purposes of sex and child porn. 

Muskogee Now reports that she was sentenced to 10 years on the conspiracy charge in court September 6, 2017.

Perry was arrested in January 2017 after investigators say they found hundreds of images, videos and texts and his electronic devices that relate to child pornography.

Perry pleaded not guilty in the case and has not yet gone to trial.
