Muskogee Man Arrested On Complaints Of Child Sexual Abuse

A Muskogee man and woman are in jail on child abuse charges.

According to court documents, Muskogee Police responded to a call in the 1700 block of South 6th Street on March 14, 2018.

When officers arrived, they learned Walter Points was accused of assaulting a 12-year-old by hitting, choking and stomping him. Police said the victim also told them Points had sexually abused him.

They also said two other victims – a 16-year-old and 17-year-old - also disclosed they were sexually abused by Points.

The affidavit says forensic interviews were performed on all six of the children living at the home. It says three of the children gave details about being sexually, emotionally and mentally abused by Walter and June Points.

The affidavit says the abuse has been ongoing for about five years.

Walter Points was arrested on three complaints of child sexual abuse and three complaints of child abuse by injury.

June Points was arrested on three complaints of enabling child abuse by injury.
