A family is offering a $2,000 reward after burglars ransacked their home while they were camping at Keystone Lake.

The thieves got away with electronics, tools, guns, and more.

Deputies said it looks like experts are behind the brazen burglary.

Tulsa County detectives said they think the thieves used counter tracking measures and even socks or gloves to cover their shoe prints.

They managed to haul off thousands in valuables like invaluable tax documents, even stealing cash from their daughter's piggy bank.

"They cleaned out my filing cabinet. Social Security cards, birth certificates, passports," said victim Jenifer Smith.

10 years’ worth of tax documents were swiped from the table. Five TVs were ripped from walls. A PlayStation, laptop, several firearms, clothes, and more than $6,000 in tools were hauled out.

"It seems like this is probably a more experienced crew who hit this home and we would really like some leads on who these guys are so we can get them behind bars," said Casey Roebuck with the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives said the tracks show the burglars used a truck and trailer.

They unscrewed all outside lightbulbs to make it darker, pried open a sliding door, and covered their prints.

"That shows us that this isn't the first time that they've done this and we're worried that it might not be their last," Roebuck said.

But it is the last time the Smith's will feel unsafe.

"We will be ready next time," Smith said, "things are things and it would be nice to have them back but we would rather have these guys caught.”

The family is working on setting up the $2,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.

The Sheriff's Office recommends putting a lock on credit cards and loan applications when something like this happens. That's the first thing the Smith's did after calling the police.
