Lincoln County Officials Caution Residents After Several Fires

Lincoln County emergency management says one of the grass fires Saturday was caused by someone welding outside without a spotter or water source.

Officials said approximately 75 firefighters from three counties worked for about six hours to knock out that fire.

They are asking residents to stay informed about weather conditions and be extra careful with ignition sources.
