A man has died after being shot in the head at a Tulsa apartment complex.
The shooting was reported about 7:10 p.m. Saturday at a complex in the 6200 block of East 38th Street, near Sheridan and Interstate 44.
The man and a woman were sitting in a vehicle at the Normandy Apartments when it appears the car was shot at. Police said the man, identified as 38-year-old Frankie Foster, was shot in the head. He was taken to a local hospital where he died.
The woman was not injured in the shooting, police said. The woman is being questioned by police. Police said the crime scene was rearranged before officers arrived so they are working to piece together what happened.
So far, no arrests have been made and police do not have a suspect description.
“We’ve had two so far this year. One was an accidental, and one was an officer-involved. But past that, there’s been a nice outbreak of peace and love in Tulsa for the past couple months,” Tulsa police Sgt. Brandon Watkins said.
