The University of Oklahoma is responding to a second allegation that former President David Boren inappropriately touched a 21-year-old former teaching assistant in a sexual manner a number of times.
The allegation, as reported by NonDoc comes just a month after reports that OU had hired the Jones-Day law firm to look into allegations of misconduct by President Boren. In a statement, OU says in part "While individuals may share their own personal accounting, it is critical that the university proceed deliberately, objectively and with respect for all the individuals involved."
In February, the University confirmed that investigation has to do with "allegations of serious misconduct."
"I am aware of [teaching assistant] Jess Eddy being interviewed by [the law firm] Jones-Day. In the interview, Mr. Eddy strongly denies any inappropriate behavior by President Boren. The inquiry by Jones-Day was based on nothing but rumors," said Boren's attorney Bob Burke.
This is a developing story...
