It can’t dribble let alone slam dunk, but Toyota's basketball robot hardly ever misses a free throw or a 3-pointer.

The robot, called Cue 3, computes a 3-D image where the basket is and adjusts motors inside its arm and knees to give the shot the correct angle.

During a recent demonstration in Japan, the 6' 10'' tall machine managed to sink five out of eight 3-point shots.
