Tulsa firefighters said they believe arson is to blame for a fire that destroyed a home near Pine and Peoria. Firefighters said it started around 4:15 a.m. Monday morning, Nov. 18.
Investigators said they want to talk to several people in connection with the arson, and they released the names of two persons of interest: Diane Jumper and Joshua Davis.
TFD said there was heavy smoke and flames coming from the front of the house when they arrived. Drivers could see and smell smoke from Highway 75.
Firefighters said they had a difficult time accessing the fire due to a fence and the layout of the house; they contained the fire to the front of the house.
Firefighters said 4 adults made it out of the house
Andy Little with the Tulsa Fire Department said investigators found evidence at the scene leading them to believe someone set the fire on purpose.
"There were multiple fires set outside, I believe, and the homeowner has given some information for us to follow up on, as well," he said.
If you know anything about this fire including the location of Davis and Jumper, you are asked to call the Arson Tip Line at 918-596-ARSN.
