An earthquake shook up residents in Dewey County, early Tuesday morning.
According to the USGS, the 3.1 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately 5:29 a.m. Its epicenter was located about 2.4 miles northeast of Chester, 32 miles southeast of Woodward, 57 miles southwest of Enid and 92 miles northwest of Oklahoma City.
It was just over 3 miles deep
At this time, there are no reported damages or injuries associated with this quake.
