An Edmond man accused in the 2015 death of a 6-year-old boy has been sentenced to life plus 30 years.
Kelly Corn, 47, drove his Chevrolet truck onto the westbound lanes of the Kilpatrick Turnpike, slamming head-on into a Lexus driven by Shavon McNack-Watley. Her 6-year-old son was killed in that crash.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said Corn was driving under the influence of medication.
Corn pleaded guilty on August 23 and was sentenced to life in prison on the first count against him and 30 years and 10 days, to run concurrently, on the other counts against him.
