Is it worth it?

We’d say so! And apparently so would Mary Halsey, who announced herself as Missy Elliot’s “funky white sister,” just before breaking into a flawless performance of the rappers 2002 hit song “Work It,” during karaoke at a park in East Greenwich, Rhode Island.

The video, posted by Halsey is making the rounds on social media, gaining more than 11 million views on Facebook, and over 3 million views on Twitter.

And even though we know there’s that one line that gets pretty tricky. Halsey doesn’t miss a beat.

The video has since gained the attention of the original rapper herself.

Missy Elliott posted the video to Twitter writing, “she straight killed “Work It,” sound effects and all. I love it.”
