Olympic Snowboarder Dies On Her 18th Birthday

Ellie Soutter, an Olympic snowboarder from the United Kingdom, died on her 18th birthday on Wednesday,July 25, according to a Facebook post by her father.

Soutter won the UK’s only medal at the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival in Turkey last year, officials said.

Her cause of death was not released.
