Man Charged In Connection With OK Co. Crash

A Luther man has been charged in connection with the January death of an Edmond man in Oklahoma County.

John Zachary Gentry, 72, was charged with negligent homicide in connection the fatality crash on Jan. 28 near Waterloo and Council roads.

Investigators determined Gentry turned directly into the path of a motorcycle. The crash resulted in the death of the motorcyclist, James Paul Blanchard, of Edmond.

Gentry was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on Sunday and is being held on a $10,000 bond.
