Emergency crews responded to a fatal crash involving a semi on EB I-40, near Shawnee.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 2:20 p.m. Crews closed the outside lanes for over three hours to clear the scene.

UPDATE: All eastbound lanes have re-opened. Emergency crews remain on scene. Use caution when traveling through this area... BSF
