1 Dead In WB I-40 Accident Involving Semi

One person is dead after a crash involving a semi on WB I-40 near the Douglas Bridge Friday morning.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, in an attempt to slow for traffic, a white pickup truck driven by 60-year-old James Roberts, of Shawnee, OK, swerved into an outside lane and crashed into the back of a semi.

Roberts was pronounced dead at the scene.
