Pott. County Deputies Search For Most Wanted Fugitive

The search is on for one of Pottawatomie County's most wanted fugitives.

David Knight is wanted after failing to appear in the second day of his jury trial for endangering others while eluding police and robbery by force or fear.

Knight has tried to run before but wasn't successful. Knight was in court when he learned he was wanted on drug charges and then tried to give deputies the slip. Previously, after taking an elevator down seven floors, he was taken down just outside the Pott County courthouse outside of the view of any surveillance cameras. In the process of escaping, the accompanying deputy broke his shoulder, chipped his tooth, and scraped up his arms and legs in a scuffle with Knight.

The sheriff's office says Knight has MMA fighting experience and is considered dangerous.
