More and more soldiers are getting out of the service and looking for work in the civilian world, but many of them do not have the clothes they need for an interview.
Farmers Insurance aims to collect 50,000 Suits for Soldiers in a nationwide drive going on through the end of November. You can bring in a new or gently used suit to any Farmers Insurance agency and they will pass them along to veterans in need.
Agent Matthew Vann spent 20 years in the military before joining the insurance field and says, “I was active duty at one time, and it’s very difficult to transition from the military life to civilian life, so anything we can possibly do to make their transition a little easier, I’m all for it.”
Farmers Insurance has a program dedicated entirely to helping veterans find work. To learn more about services, click here.
