Neither the Cowboys nor the Sooners are ranked in the initial Top 25 Coaches Poll, although Oklahoma is receiving votes.
Several scheduled opponents are in the opening poll, however. Under first-year head coach Brad Underwood, Oklahoma State could face a number of top-tier teams in the Maui Invitational beginning with No. 16 Connecticut on Nov. 21st. The Cowboys could see No. 6 North Carolina, No. 10 Wisconsin and/or No. 5 Oregon later in the tournament.
Oklahoma takes on tenth-ranked Wisconsin in Madison on Dec. 3rd. The same day, OSU travels to No. 21 Maryland.
Three Big 12 foes are ranked: No. 2 Kansas, No. 18 West Virginia and No. 22 Texas.
Oklahoma State faces Pittsburg State in exhibition play on Nov. 1st. Oklahoma tips off the preseason with Washburn on Nov. 8th.
