One Person Shot In NW OKC Neighborhood

At least one person has been shot at an apartment complex just to the northeast of Lake Hefner, Oklahoma City Police say.

Officers were called out to the scene at the Quail Creek apartment complex in the 11100 block of Springhollow Rd., near W. Hefner Rd. and N. May Ave.

The victim, who has not yet been identified, was transported from the scene to a local hospital in stable condition. Police have not said what led up to the shooting nor have they released any information regarding possible suspects.

St. Eugene Catholic School, located near W. Hefner Rd. and N. Villa Ave., was briefly placed on lock down because of the shooting. The lock down has since been lifted.
