Spencer Man Shot Late Sunday Evening

A Spencer man was shot late Sunday evening in an apparent drive-by. 

According to police, the victim was walking near Spencer Road and NE 34th St. when someone inside a car fired multiple shots, hitting the man in the hip. 

The victim's injuries are non-life threatening. 

Police consider this is gang-related. No arrests have been made and Spencer authorities have asked other agencies to be on the lookout. 

Other shots also hit a nearby house. No one inside the house was hurt.
