This presidential race is just now kicking into high gear and it already reads like a political thriller, think about it.
Last week in Cleveland, we saw the GOP runner-up booed off the stage when he thumbed his nose at nominee Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, Trump's children stepped into the political spotlight, and I heard even some political opponents make Kennedy Clan comparisons.
Then Trump himself cast his vision for America that was either inspiringly "John Wayne-like" or frighteningly dark depending on which side of the fence you're on.
Now it's the Democrats' turn, and the comparison was that this is a party that's truly unified.
But before it even started, party secrets were being splashed across the Internet, hacked emails angered Sanders supporters who learned the DNC was working against him just as he'd claimed.
To add a little international intrigue, the Democrats say the leak was the work of Russian computer hackers who want to help Trump win the White House.
And by the way, the DNC chairwoman was forced to resign the day before she was expected to call the convention to order because of her part in the leaked email scandal.
And that's just chapter one.
I'm Kelly Ogle and that's My 2 Cents.
