Authorities are investigating after human remains were found in Blaine County.
According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI,) Friday afternoon, a farmer spraying his field near Canton found a human skull. That farmer then contacted the Blaine County Sheriff’s office.
Deputies responded to the scene near the intersection of highway 51 and 58. The Medical Examiner’s office and OSBI agents also responded.
During a search of the area, more human remains were found. Medical Examiner’s office personnel collected the remains and transported them back to their office for positive identification.
